Chris Head
To all of ye who doubted me.....get stuffed!edit, yes I had a huge scrap with the ram, dropped the torch and got covered in sheepsh1t and mud (add a bruised rib to the list of injuries at the mo) but I got dirty and managed to send him off. Big 'ole girl had three, the pictured lamb had crawled off to die, a real runt, so we now have a bleating thingy in the kitchen next to the Godin...French life eh? Chris Head
We've had to bring another one in, I guess it got too cold and was clearly close to death, it's all wrapped up now next to the Godin but won't feed, we're trying to force feed it but it's still too lethargic. The 'runt' got through OK and is feeding and warm, but still can't really stand up....it's quite hilarious! I'm watching the third one closely. Mum has always been a good mum, I don't know what happened this time. It's like Noahs Ark here at the mo!>was Welsh the father then?...< I have my suspicions Missy but I'm not quite brave enough to voice them. Still, there's always DNA testing! You're right Hoddy, it's going to be a toughie when it comes time to kill them, it wasn't easy last time and caused arguments but it's got to be done.More piccies later, I hope you all understand the personal danger I have to endure to keep you all entertained, the least y'all could do is have a whip round for a new amplifier for me![:D]
TWINKLE
I can put up with the Welsh jokes from you Chris - but if you kill those lambs I will NEVER speak to you again.
Lori
I really don't know how you farmer types do it. Buy them, breed them, birth them, feed them, raise them, cuddle them and then eat em. I know it is a fact of life and I'm being very silly, but I don't think I could do it.Good luck with the second one. Its cold here too.
