Thanks for the links Ernie ...... the trivia facts on Bruges re the f word mean the wife will not watch it , but I will look out for it.
Shame to miss what is an excellent and very unusual film for that reason. The 'F' words (and the 'C' word is there too) are entirely in context and the film would fall completely flat without them. Think what Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels would have been without the language.

'Dashed northern monkeys' doesn't have quite the same impact wouldn't you agree [blink]

Hello , me again. Some more to recommend.

Taken .....Liam Neeson is brilliant , better than Bond , but you will never let your daughter travel to Paris alone after this.

The Memory Keepers Daughter ..... good , a bit of a weepie ......no more plumbing for me.

Traitor .........excellent , with some scenes in France

Wall-e ........animated but not just for kids .......there is hope for mankind

I finally got to see In Bruges but do not agree with others who have recommended it .....I  hated it.

Atonement                   - cheated at the Oscars

The Bank Job               - super caper movie

... anything from Studio Ghibli - to show that animation does not mean "children's film". Grave of the Fireflies (has a more compelling anti-war film ever been made?) Howl's Moving Castle for its visual impact and Spirited Away for its profundity.
