Just what do you do when you have had too much to drink?

Make yourself sick? drink a gallon of coffee or 8 litres of water?
If I'm feeling grog I take a couple of resolve extra to make me feel a bit better but just what do you do ? . . .

edit: I have never thought anything could make me fit to drive, and usually have resorted to the beer scooter[:D]

Depending on the severity of the problem, an Anadin and either toast and marmite or a fry up !

What always surprises me is that people of a certain age still drink too much and feel off the day after.

Not a criticism, just an observation.

You could follow the advice I read for Christmas parties of not drinking too much in the first place.

Drink enough so that you want to dance but not so much that you think you're John Travolta.

I invented a hangover cure called The Ming Fizz.

Half a pint of grapfruit juice, juice of two lemons and top up with fizzy water - be careful it froths up in the glass.

MMMM beautiful.

One rule is NEVER to drink coffee. It makes you worse by dehydrating you further.

Water before you go to sleep is a good idea.

Alternatively, just don't stop drinking.

Wow - we are living in the last days of heavy inebriation! Who wants to be just mildly intoxicated that might be fine for the mediteranians but the Anglo-Saxon way is to get blind drunk.

With this 1984 new druggy drink will you be forced to take an antidote as you leave the pub? The drunken meander home is part of the fun.

My 83 year-old neighbour has an impressive black eye. He says he fell down on the way back from the village pub, 200 yards away, on Christmas Eve. I don't know whether to be impressed or sorry for him.

If you can keep it down - ONE RAW EGG - does the trick, because when you are feeling at your worst the next morning, one thought of the raw egg makes you realise that you don't feel that bad.

This does bring up a large question as to the findings Mr Nutt gave to the government on drugs - when he has a vested interest in legalising recreational drugs.
