  1. I have read the T&C`s and can see nothing that stops members posting their email address or other personal details on the open forum. regards colin
  2. Gluestick. I have read as many reports as I can find on the tragic incident you mention. I cant find a single reference to      " an idiot fiddled, illegally, with his gas boiler  " perhaps you would be kind enough to point me to this report. regards colin
  3. Hi cooperlola You are right I do say would`ve. I come from south east London. Sorry if I got hold of the wrong end of the stick (I do sometimes) regards colin
  4. Cooperlola I admit that because of where I was born in England I have to admit to using the phase would of (I am not ashamed of that), and thank you yes I do understand the post.  Is there any need to be so condescending?   regards colin
  5. Warning triangle or hazard warning lights compulsory (recommended that warning triangle always be carried).
  6. Point 2) USED to be the case, but according to www.ukspeedtraps.co.uk, is no longer. It was a glitch and has been fixed. They would say that wouldn`t they. The specs cameras on the M1 in the roadworks are the type that only monitor a single lane as the government did not what the exspence or the multi lane camera.
  7. Ron Thore average speed cameras on the M1 in the roadworks are switched on and making shedloads of money for the government.(at the rate at which speeding fines are being handed out the road should almost pay for its self) I am told there are two ways to avoid helping to pay for it. 1) stick to the 50mph limit. 2) Change lanes after you pass the camera. regards colin
  8. Ian If you know what the errors and incorrect imfomation are then perhaps you could post to correct these errors so that we all know the correct procedure. regards colin
  9. Just tried Ryanair, works alright for me regards colin
  10. Hi Christine Could this be your moth. http://butterflies.aa6g.org/Butterflies/Raised/polyphemus.html regards colin
  11. As we now have a Scottish parliament and welsh and Irish assembles, is it not time that we also had an Engish parliament regards colin
  12. Hi. I think that the chip is needed first as proof that it the same animal that has had the rabies jab and blood test. regards colin
  13. Weeding. Pull it up if it grows again it`s a weed.
  14. Dick I don`t think approx £15 out of a total of £35 is insignificant. You think RA should not be allowed to show fares before adding the extras and I think otherwise, as I have said before it doesn`t really concern me as when I go to my house in France I drive. I will not post anymore on this topic as to allow you the last word which I know is coming. P.S I have nothing to get over regards colin
  15. Dick the ten pounds tax is just that a tax which does not go to the airport but to the government there is also an insurance levy again going to the government (another disguised tax) then there is an airport passenger charge which goes to the airport why should these charges not be shown separaterly. I know that these flights cost more than 1p but alot of the £35 does not go to Ryanair. P.S I dont really care as I always drive regards colin
  16. Baz Why do you think its a good idea that airlines are to be forced into hiding all taxes on behalf of the government. I think that all prices (not only airfares ) should be shown before tax is added that way we know just how much of our money is going in purchase tax regards colin
  17. Dummy booking, London (Stanstead) to Limoges return 14/03/2007-21/03/2007 £16.55
  18. Brilec Maybe you should try booking a return trip on speedferries and then compare that with what the rest can offer, I do not really think that you are comparing like with like. A block of ten single trips (paid for in advance) using their frequent traveller offer does not cost £160 per single ticket. regards colin
  19. Bob I stopped using the cheap, fast operater because nine times out of ten I can book a cheaper crossing with one or more of the more expensive operaters. As for fast yes they are but it takes an awful lot longer to disenbark. regards colin
  20. Di. I don`t know if this web site contains the info you want. http://www.dwp.gov.uk/international/sa29/benefits_11.asp regards colin
  21. I have never filled in this part of the cheque and have never had a cheque bounce. regards colin
  22. Ron those other Co2 culprits, the car have already been hit by a tax hike of 1.25 pence but unlike air passengers this tax hike was imposed at 6 pm on the day he made the announcement. Then of course the oil companies added thier bit for collecting it resulting in 2p rise at the pumps. regards colin
  23. J.R I don`t know if this is any use to you but you can check all ferry delays and cancellation at this web site. http://www.bbc.co.uk/travelnews/public/ferries/ferries.shtml regards colin
