I have the bravoska an oval version of the lakeland model BUt it does have the advantage of having the heat source on the bottom or the top I use it if I cannot utilise all the oven and its great for holidays etc i got mine from ebay

branston pickle , selection of teas, tiger bread (my neighbours go big time for this !!) brown sauce ,jellies (well worth the quizzling looks !!)sandwich spread, custard (ready made) tinned rice ,pork pies,sausage rolls , cheddar cheese (or a selection from your area) parsnips !!! ginger beer,cream soda or any of the flavoured pops which are dificult to get here you could actually make them a trifle (lovely stuff) the above is a small sample of the shopping that I have to do for my neighbours !!!!

I got my gas cooker in england , I did buy a french one but could not get on with it ( perhaps because it was a cheapy)  anyway I bought a canon (bliss) and always have a few bottles of gas spare (but I get mine in belgium and yiou do not need bottles to start off with )

well I think the translation for arrowroot is marante and you can also use gelatine but they do  pie fillings as well (well they do by me!!) I tend to get the jarred cherries and thicken them myself  as well lidl were doing a nice one with a lovely thick juice

for the cherries you could make a cherry brandy, vodka or cherry almond liquer just put cherries into wide necked jar add alcohol and sugar and shake for a few days until sugar has dissolved or for non alco things cherry jam or compote (or just send them to me I lOVE cherries!!

we have our 2 on halter collars so that they can stretch their legs they seem to enjoy the saunter and it usually coincides with our need for coffee!!!

don't know about tomorrow but today and definately now we are being pasted !!!!  thunder, lightning and torrential rain and the wind is driving it through any nooks and crannies!! the consevatory roof could not take it so we have buckets everywhere !!!!  god help us if it gets worse tomorrow!!! the river has reached its limit already
