Ikea seems to be the most accessible kitchen supplier but I have a feeling that nearly all Brits own an Ikea Kitchen. LEO Posted October 6, 2009 Share Posted October 6, 2009 Hi elainet,If you are at the start of your renovation you do not need to choose a supplier at this stage all you have to decide is ;A; the position B; roughly where the sink/drainage will need to be.We were still deciding which units to buy and how much to spend, one year after we started our renovation! Rose (& Greyman) Posted October 11, 2009 Share Posted October 11, 2009 Some friends bought a Lapeyre kitchen - they had to call on a gang of mates to come and hold the units together while they were GLUED. Seemed a bit primitive to me and they said the quality wasn't great. We have also had bad after-sales service from them so I would cast a vote against Lapeyre. We had a carpenter make our units from locally sourced oak - that way it looks good with our freestanding furniture and, if we decide to change our kitchen in the future, then no problem.
