Sorry to break the rythm here, but I thought this might interest one or two people.

Superb 30 minute documentary of Eric Burdon trying to trace the origins of The House of The Rising Sun.

scroll down to the Stratocaster, click on "Documentaries" then on "Burdon's Journey"

Interestingly the tune can be traced back to the 17th century English song Matty Groves, and they even play a couple bars of the version from Liege & Lief, one of my all time favourite albums.[:D]
