Alexis
I know some of you hate them, but I love them! Françonville,Montpellier,Dijon and Saint-Etienne are the spots to be.Rennes is in 2006...which is sooner than planned. They must have felt sorry for me having to go to Nantes. SaligoBay
And the Montpellier one is right next to the tram terminus, so visits to town will be just jam-packed with excitement opportunities! The tram was free on Wednesday, something to do with keeping cars out of the city centre (excellent idea, if you've ever wrestled with Montpellier traffic!). Maybe it's free every day now, who knows?
Richard-R
Lets hope there grade openings will not be be same as the one in Saudia Arabia where people trampled each other to death to claim 60 quid for being the first few customers in the store. Taking flat pack a little too far!!!!!!!

Teamedup
A recomendation from Ikea, they do a long shoe horn, and the bit handle end has two rubber covered small triangular ends on it............. they make great back scratcher and because the shoe horn is so long I can manage any bit of my back, absolutely wonderful it is. Diana
For all their sins, you can't beat them for an instant makeover. I would never buy anything from IKEA with moving parts but if you look carefully there are some good things to be had. Just wish they would open one near Manche.Diana

Nathalie
We've just bought a house in 22 with friends, so last Sunday 6 adults and 6 kids traipsed down to IKEA in Leeds to buy the essential stuff - crockery, cutlery and the like. We want to buy as much French stuff as possible when we go out for a week in November, but it will get us started at least ... We had loads of fun catching people on the ankles with our trollies, blocking the aisles, taking over the coffee shop....Anyway, Ikea does have some good stuff, and a lot of tat, but don't you think it's a shame that France is starting to lose that "je ne sais quoi" when it comes to chic shops and its reputation for quality? MacDonalds, fast food, Ikeas, cheap clothes shops in big shopping centres .... Nathalie
