moon
It would seem those on the other side (TF) have forgot the meter. Suspended service.Bob
Russethouse
Noticed the same thing - its very odd because Finlay and Monika are normally so well organised.Any TF posters wanting to post here while we wait for an update are more than welcome .[:)]

Anton Redman
Back when Dinosaurs ruled the earth, I did suggest that the main reason for having Total France was advising when Living Fracnce was down and Vice Versa .The thing which rearly hacks me off is people posting exactly the same question in both fora / forums. Russethouse
I hope we co exist in harmony these days and that they would make the same offer should LF 'go down'.In any case they seem to be up and running now.

Also, there are quite a few people who post happily on both forums. I quite enjoyed the time when some of them chose to take refuge here. I'm sure they would extend a welcome to us LF people under similar circumstances.

Miki
Just spotted this, sorry but the person in question and I have been incontact and it was definitely NOT this site they were talking about, itwas...........well obviously it is not fair for me to name the site asthey didn't,suffice again to say it was certainly not LF they were talking aboutbut I bet some know about the site they meant and the pure drivel thatgoes on there, unlike the educated and wordly wise way we debateon 'ere wot [:D] Well that's cleared that up and the entente cordiale can now continuewith our friends, neighbours and fellow francophiles on T.F [;)]

Miki
Hi Alexis,Like the lad bit, kinda makes me feel one of the boys again !Nope, no good this year. They swapped the King George from Kempton to Sandown, as Kempton ishaving a new all weather track and floodlight system put in (it willnow mean you can now lose yer money at night as well, without going tothe dogs !). Didn't go this year, we were in Wales at the time but hadthree bets and all 3 went down the pan! Came back Harry Lint but Mme Tina isn't bothered, (that's all she says"Am I bovvered" when I say we only have a few euros until we openagain, where did she come up with that ? She is still preparing herrunning spikes and shell suit (ooh lovely !) for the big, go, go, gotomorrow morning. She won't be much more than a blur when the doorsopen, 3 reccy missions this week, has seen her plot where the buys areand I have my orders to cover her back when she goes in for the bigbuys. I feel like Mr Bucket at times like this [:D]I hope that you enjoyed Christmas and all is going well at Chez Alexis ?

Miki
Well don't forget your gumshield and head gear if you are going in thatplace. Gawd knows what Tina would wear (or make me wear as protector ofthe buyer !) in her vicious attempts to wrestle bargains of thepeasants (meant in the nicest way, you understand). I think we willwait until next year for the Swedes to come up our way.We really would like to get the new matresses from IKEA but we havedone a deal at Fly again this year for a couple of pretty good ones. Now gotta get meself ready for the offensive in the morning..............Do you make Marmalade then ? We make enough (I say "we" in the loosestterm) jam to last a few months but it all goes well before the end ofthe season.Really hope it all goes and 2006 sees all this behind you.
