Which Weather Forecast Site

Which website do you all use for the weather near you.  I use weather.co.uk which does overseas weather and have it set for Uzerche which is our local weather station, but I'd like to try and find one as accurate as possible.  At the moment, our one is telling me it's foggy outside, but that is far from accurate as I can see the hills on the horizon and it's blue sky apart from a few fluffy clouds.

Also I hear you can get one on your desktop that comes up every time you log in.  I do have one on my Firefox Toolbar, but that one says it's raining at the moment.

Would love to know what everyone else uses.

I find meteo.fr is usually pretty reliable.  You can drill down to your own department and get a fairly accurate picture of the next few days and a general expectation for the coming week.

Over here, the last couple of days have been clear and sunny in the mornings and thundery in the afternoons.

I go around the house pulling plugs out of sockets, even though we use surge protectors!

I remember as a wee nipper that in thundery weather my Batty aunts used to not only switch off the electrics at the mains but would would also cover up mirrors with sheets.  What was the point of that???? It wasn't as if they lived in the country, this was in the middle on London.

I find www.lachainemeteo.com a good and reliable one, with 10-day forecasts that are updated very frequently.

I use meteo france, sometimes the Met Office, and occasionally others.  Meteo France is usually reliable, the Met Office also, even if they are doing it by remote, but the last few days/weeks, none have got it right!

That's a good one.  I can even whittle it down to Arnac Pompadour.  Forecasting isolated thunderstorms this pm although the sun is shining at the moment.  Well best unplug the PC and clean my kitchen cupboards instead.  Deep joy !!!!  [:'(]

You maybe able to do that. but the forecast will still come from the nearest main meto station, which in your region could be Limoges.

That is an excellent site!!  Look's like we're also in for a thunderstorm tonight - it better not interupt my taping of the GP qualifying!!

I am confused... I thought high pressure was sun, and low pressure brought rain.... this site is showing the complete opposite.... lower and lower pressure throughout next week culminating in 24c and broken clouds/cloudy. I need to do some basic meteo training
