JohnRoss
Brief tremor at about 9.15 here near St Maixent L'Ecole in Deux Sevres. Dull rumble of a few seconds and the window rattled, no lorries going past. So where was the épicentre this time?............................JR

JohnRoss
Did you bear witness? I did and loved the animations like http://www.franceseisme.fr/formulaire/Flash/NIVO%208/niveau8.html . I reported level 2 http://www.franceseisme.fr/formulaire/Flash/NIVO%202/niveau2.html but not funny really and we are due for a big one looking at past history for the region...........................JR
cal
Yes I 'did bear witness'. Sounded like 'a train doing through the house' rather than the often rolling motion. I've been in a 'big one' in California and many people died. Not funny. On a lighter note the earth didn't move for me this morning! Why do you think we're due for a big one? pachapapa
Heard about it this morning thursday on france Bleu Poitou.Personally it was news to me.After the first three months in Chile the earth tremors, sometimes several per day, became part of life.Anything less than Richter 7 would be unlikely to penetrate my brain.
