Recommended Posts

Thank you so much for the link cooperlola, but I was thinking of a shop in town, maybe one of the big supermarkets ect......

If I am unable to find a shop then I shall use the link that you provided. Thank you once again for your reply. Most kind.......

There's a workwear shop in Limoges

That's the only one with a website which came up in Pages Jaunes.

The only one in the Creuse which came up was:

Berthias Georges

Activité : vêtements de travail, professionnels

      • 13 pl Champ de Foire 23160 SAINT SEBASTIEN

        05 55 63 50 82
      • A

As daft as it sounds, I think these are now a bit of a specialist garment but I could be wrong.

I don't like sewing either but if you are stuck its a very quick and easy project - it must be, making an apron was our first sewing project at school at age 11 [:)]

Hah, RH, I bet you never went to school with the nuns from the Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus, who think nothing of hiting your fingers with the edge of a wooden ruler if your hems aren't exactly 10 stitches to the inch!

Don't TALK to me about sewing.............I just about manage a button and then the damn thing would just fall off again![+o(]
If Angel is anything like me then the idea that any sewing is "quick and easy" is, frankly, hilarious.  About as likely as my nipping up on my roof to re-align my satelite dish (as the congnoscenti on the telly board so often advise.)[:-))][:)]

EDIT : I see that Sweets understands me.

Oh go on......its a challenge - a bit of logic a needle and thread and there you go...sewing machine would help but not essential.......

I'd offer but I'm trying to resurrect my knitting skills at present - anyone got any easy baby patterns? (and no, I'm not expecting and neither of my children are about to make me a grandmother)
Cendrillon, I'm afraid you're just plain unnatural![:D]
[:)]

Funny how I have a strong alergic reaction to any job classified as "women's work."

R/H, the mere fact that you have any knitting skills to resurrect just proves my point.  What to one person is a doddle, to the next is as easy as climbing everest (not to mention supremely boring).

All due to my favorite Aunt who was a keen knitter and had the patience to teach me - its not that difficult there are only two stitches, knit and purl, everything else is a variation. What I need to polish up is things like picking up stitches round a neckband or button band.....not my favorite thing.....

All joking apart, surely there is a catering or workwear supplier where an apron is available ?
