Men's underpants

The shorts are boxers, last time I looked, but I think M & S also do pants, too skimpy to need a Y front, called 'slips' (which is actually what both the males here wear)

I thought 'underpants' could be any style, but its not my specialised subject !

I think Keks or shreds is a generic term for any style that serves the purpose.

I have also heard the expression' harvest festivals' too - as in 'all is safely gathered in' !

I like the one about Harvests, that says it all I guess.

Me and me mates (yeh got some of them as well ! I ain't a billy........) call them kecks (mens and womens) and what is says on this pair I am wearing (the things you do for research) is briefs and now I've ricked me flipping neck, having to lean backwards and twisting me neck like twizzle !

Make the next Q a bit simpler please TU

Salamans.

Salaman Grundys------undies. Don't ask where it comes from though it was what we all called them at school.

What about spogs then?? Sweets  or spice as they were sometimes known but mainly SPOGS

I thought that "keks" was a north of Watford Gap term for trousers.

Possibly "shreds" is a corruption of a ? Hindi word "chuddies (sp?)"

In E Anglia said garments usually referred to as "pants" which also confuses our colonial cousins in US.

Gosh what an exciting subject for an autumn morn.
