Chris Head
Hi AlexCan't help with your licence/tax stuff but there are already Brits here who are well established in the fosse/digger game. 23 seems to be very well covered, I know of four Brit digger operaters/fosse installers, do some market research. I think you might find that you'll have to compete quite hard to get business.Good luck to you. No I'm not in the business.

Cassis
It's very clever how he manages to balance them all one on top of the other like that. Bit of a nuisance if you need the one at the bottom, I imagine.

Chris Head
Fantastic observation Steve...I'm impressed! They should be that tension for a very good reason but there's no way on earth any of you will guess unless you talk to a pro, this is headed the same way as Le Gif's....pint of Creme de Menthe on offer. Meg
They are quite pointy on the ends (technical term) are they for doing fine detailed bits??Edit: And i guess that means you wouldn't use the side bit for cutting just the tip and so the chain would be loose because.................nope lost it.......Edit 2: because if it was tighter it could ping off or something about making it safer. TWINKLE
The three on the bottom look like they're teething and the top two look like their denture's are loose!Try a bit of Polygrip on them[:)]
Cassis
Only guessing here - new-ish bars with carving tips, the new bars heat up and expand so you need to run a slacker chain initially until the bar is 'run in'?
Chris Head
Nope, not a million miles off, and nope! The bottom two are the Mike Tyson of the saw world Twinks, their teething is finished and now they bite with a vengeance!
