Sounds like horse flies I find they normally come out when its humid or after rain and Im alergic to the bites and they can make my whole arm or leg swell up, although I find if you dont scratch them they dont get so bad , but its hard as they itch like crazy ...

The problem is Although the Halifax are offering a transfer flat fee of 7.50 I cant get any one to understand they must also be charging a small amount of the exchange rate aswell and I want to know what it is .... but they look at me as if im stupid and have no Idea what Im talking about , so im going to give up ... I have a good brokerage online company I use and have agreed a 0.03 rate which im happy about so Halifax will miss out ... As for the nationwide , they were great for taking money out through the hole in the wall but bank to bank transfers were always expensive only did it once and they were useless ... oh well.....

This is my problem ... I asked at the bank and I was told it was a flat rate of £7.50 and I said yes but do you give me the true rate of exchange or do you take a commission ... they all cocked there heads to one side and acted as if they didnt know what I was talking about ....no matter how much I tried to explain they seemed to not under stand what taking a commision meant .... I asked to talk to the manager who only just seemed to understand and said there was no commission taken off ...I find this hard to believe that I can send 41K to france and only pay £7.50 when I have always been told to use brokers , who charge much more ....

Audio I always thought they said that to stop having dogs poo all over the nice clean hall floor !!!! But your right I also have heard that but I expect that is just one of many reasons that can cause it. When I had my very first dog I use to panic each time it rolled about on its back after eating as I was sure it woul be bad for it... thankfully it survied that and 101 other worries I had for it to a ripe old age ( first mother sydrome I think its called!!)

My UK bank is offering to send any amount of money for 7.50 to my french bank trouble is I cant seem to comfirm with any one what rate of exchange this is at ( is it the current rate or do they take a bit off for them selves?) I understand that it changes all the time and I get the rate as it moves , But when do they do the exchange when I make the request or days later when the paper work is done in an office some where ? Im currently trying to send 41K euros and i normally use a online broker ...but if this flat rate is all they take it seems silly not to take this option .... What am I missing ?

Our dog likes to eat tomuch in one go so we now feed her small bits often rather than one or 2 larger meals each day , the plus side is that it has also helped to keep her weight down aswell

Soc Gen sent me a letter to say it was ready to pick up from my bank , as I wasnt there I went 3 months later and it was still there waiting for me .

As a 14 year old I was given Anne Franks Dairy as a Christmas present I read it at the time and it had a huge affect on me and saddened me that people could do those terrible things to each other. I came from a rascist family having grown up in singapore and India my parents treated the local people like servants .... I believe it was the start of me thinking for my self in such matters and not just following my parents word .... I later read a new version of it and it had the same affect , in that it made me rethink my attitudes to people different from me ... I hope today I treat everyone as I would like to be treated and any judging thoughs I may make of people in my head never surface to my attitude to them ... But Im not always perfect. I do wonder if I would of come to the same thoughts with out this books or was it the book that changed me ?

Rose do you mean the english flan of a sponge case filled with fruit and jelly ? If so I use to use double the strengh packet jelly mix either 2 packets to 1pint water or one packet to half a pint and allow it to cool but not set before pouring in to the flan case
