Clair
http://www.comparateur-territoires.fr/To use:first select your region, then your dept, then your commune. This comparison site uses 2010 income data from the INSEE*, for mainland France and for a single consumer unit (the equivalent of a single person), excluding taxes and social benefits. For smaller municipalities, some data is not available. The median income is the halfway point between the highest and lowest figures. "Poorest 10%" indicates the maximum income received by that cross-section."10% of the richest" indicates the minimum income received by that cross-section.*INSEE = Institut national de la statistique et des études économiques (National Institute for Statistics and Economic Studies)

Lehaut
1333 euros where we are, and I know someone on 600, so there must be a lot of rich farmers round here, though the last milk farmer I spoke to garnered less than 7000 euros a year for 56 cows, Would like to understand how they manage the subsidies etc to acutually live. Thinking about it, we have three in the village who wear anklets for drug offences, perhaps that pushes the average up!
