Jonzjob Posted October 16, 2007 Share Posted October 16, 2007 I went out from Carcassonne earlier this year, with on;y hand baggage, to the funeral of a dear friend and I took a jar of mirabel jam and another of reillette for the widower (spelling?). He has never been outside the U.K. The bloke at the securety didn't know what to do? He was asking everyone around and they pretended not to hear him. I explained to him who they were for and said that I would open them if he wanted, but he eventually said OK, but PLEASE don't bring anything like that again. The people who were waiting behind me were quite amused!!I had not even given it a thought that jam or reillette may be explosives. Taste nice too!
