Without hardly knowing how to use it yet (just about how to turn it on!) here are my very first two FujiFinePix.

These photos are really lovely Christine, and so detailed,  I love the woodgrain and the way the wood gleams.  I just can't seem to get that lovely detail,  I guess I am going to have to resort to the unthinkable and read the manual.[:P][:D]

That is really good RH! I have never used that setting, you have inspired me to give it a try. As Christine, it also looks as if you made a very good choice of camera or as you have said before you have been a very good girl [:)]. Will be looking forward to seeing many more of your photos.
Oooh that looks like a lovely pint of cider Gay.  What is that light behind it?
I think that pint of cider is the rain gauge LOL !

I'm determined to try things out on this camera and try and use its potential - of course I should have tried 'auto' too, to compare - practice makes perfect (or better, at least)

Clair

Thank you very much. I shall try again when I have more patience. The photo I was going to show was of our dog and five of his mates who are staying with us over Christmas (very jolly) but they are demanding their 'walkies' at the moment. Actually they demand that most of the time when they are not suggesting that it might be a mealtime. Still the crashed-out intervals are good.

I thought that my problem might be that I was using a Mac not a PC but Dick Smith uses one and he co-wrote the instructions so it must be something else I am doing wrong.

Hello Renaud, here you go. I receive e-mail notifications if I've posted, so I've taken these links from that, I just hope they work now.
