Mordants and other chemicals used to treat leather are linked to nervous disorders, asthma, premature death, gynaecological disorders, weakness, dizziness, headaches, abdominal pain, nausea, constipation, skin and respiratory infections, cancer and other serious illnesses.

Plus you can get some much nastier things like anthrax.

Better keep away from Longleat Monkey Jungle too they have found a monkey with Herpes B that can kill humans - one of my neighbours that hunts boar still wont believe that get syphillis rom wild boar - he better belie it or he is gonna have a problem explaining it to his wife should he be unlucky enough to succumb.
