She did this for years so must have been good. If you have such a shop near you you could ask there. pip24 Posted November 22, 2019 Share Posted November 22, 2019 Now is the wrong time to buy chickens. They can stop laying eggs when the days get shorter and colder. So to keep them laying you need extra heat and light or just leave them untill late spring when they start to lay again, again this cost you on food through the winter!
