1. December 07 we were booked on with a basic ticket Audi A2 but had to go in our Honda CRV in the end.  Absolutely no problem whatsover - just gave our booking ref no and that was that.
 2.
Forgive me if I have missed this being already answered in the thread, but it is perfectly OK to take plants to France - other than any that are possible carriers of oak disease. There is a definitive list somewhere on this site or, I am sure, you could get one by using Google. As for dairy products, my elderly French neighbour would not forgive me if I didn't arrive with a supply of Extra Strong Cheddar, which is his favourite after his own local goats cheese...
Thank you Mel - I have now found and had a look at the other threads and it seems I am not naughty after all [:)]
 3. Hello Celestine Air France go from Bordeaux to Alicante. http://www.airfrance.co.uk Regards ps - think it might be cheaper to hire a car and drive down though [;-)] !
 4.
I hate it when people say to me how lucky I am ... I always retort we are not lucky we have worked hard to have what we have , no one has ever given us anything ... but I know in my heart how lucky I am . but I still remember the days when we couldnt afford to buy food and I had 3 jobs to cover the morgage. [:)]
I think we all make our own luck and long may it continue
 5.
We also take plants (naughty!) between gardens
Gluestick - Are the plants naughty or are you saying we are not supposed to bring plants from the UK?  I'm naughty too if the latter is the case [:)]
 6. Hello Kim You might have to make a trip to Canada - found this site and they sell Mistelle ! http://www.vergerspedneault.com/en/produits.aspx
 7.
Ms Mounds is apparently a pin-up model
You want to be careful where you stick the pins - they might pop something [:-))]
 8. Well you lot, it is totally beyond me why you are going on about these ladies - ok they may be or were gorgeous......... But as far as I am concerned it's 'The King of Cool' Steve McQueen who had to be the best [kiss]
 9.
I think it might be just you PZPP, as I'm still getting logged out [:(]  But I'd like to say a big thank you to anyone who is trying to fix it [kiss]
Ditto - just been logged out [:(]

 12.
Ams - it's brightening up now.  Just like yesterday - very wet but followed by glorious sunshine.  In the UK, once it's wet, it's wet all day.
Did here yesterday too but struggling today ..........
With luck the rain will have moved on and it will be nice and sunny when we get to France in 3 weeks time.....
Ooh I do hope it gets better before then ...............
 13.
The impossible always takes time.[:P]
And miracles a little longer [:D] ............
 14. Hello Ceejay Here's a thread with a similar topic. http://www.completefrance.com/cs/forums/1079038/ShowPost.aspx Hope it helps. AGD
 15.
Now I understand, like an  ideal homes kitchen,  all chrome  and  wood,  pristine  and  pretty.   With a dustbin full of take away wrappers.
Yep - I think my kitchen is definately ideal [:)] but we're not into pizzas and havn't found a good KFC [:-))] down here yet so as for the dustbin full of take away wrappers - none in sight here (thank goodness!)  ............
 16. What a great tonic against the rainy weather [;-)]
 17.
Whats the point of a food chopping board if its not actually used for food chopping ?
To look good [;-)]
 18. A proper one with end grain.  The oil slowly sinks down into it and it looks great.  I never used to use anything but since using the olive oil it is much better.  I don't actually use it for food preparation strangely enough because it is so lovely - chopping boards from Ikea are used for food and then cleaned with brush and bleach!!
 19.
I thought that was avocado
Hey that's the colour of a bathroom suite my parents once had [:'(]!
 20. A while ago on a similar thread it was suggested to use olive oil which I now do on my butcher's block and it is fantastic (helps as I buy the oil in Spain on my annual pilgrimage there to avoid the cold here in January!).  http://www.completefrance.com/cs/forums/1096722/ShowPost.aspx
 21. Yep - got to be moved and if all goes horribly wrong we always welcome firewood!  Till February then...............
 22.
Cherry trees though are notoriously fickle.
Thank you for that speedy response and good link - looks like a job for February then ............ When you say they are fickle - do you mean it's not a good idea to move it?
 23. Terrible news and best wishes to all involved for a full and speedy recovery AGD
 24. Hello all We planted a Cherry Tree earlier this year but have decided it is in the wrong place [:(] !  Any help with regard to the best time to move it would be gratefully received. [8-)] AGD
