Viv
You seem to be asking the same basic questions in a variety of ways, part of which has been answered before.Do you have a firm scenario that you need advice on? Or are you trying to put forward a number of possible scenarios and then make a decision based on the answer you prefer? If it is the latter, why not have a look at the forum part of Headdons consulting, as they are tax specialists and there are answers to all sorts of 'what ifs' on there.I am not being funny ( i shall have that on my headstone at this rate!) but I think until you are really sure what it is you need advice on, it is difficult to give advice. Sunday Driver
if a house is in the name of one's children what is the tax position on this? for a uk house ? for a french house? if this is generating no income or just coverign the mortgage what is french tax position on this for uk house?
If a house is in the name of your children, then you need to provide details of their current tax situation..........Hang on a minute...........is this the same house as the one which you previously said was owned by you? Frankly, its a waste of my time and everyone elses answering these scattergun "what if" questions that you keep posting (and duplicating on another french discussion forum). You be better off either explaining exactly what the actual situation is and what options you want to explore - or just go and get some paid advice. Maddie
Searcher30, if you want proper answers try asking one question at a time and give some sort of information as to your circumstances and why you are asking so people can have some idea of "where you are coming from". This constant barrage of questions is beginning to come across as very odd indeed. Is anyone else beginning to smell a rat?

Tony F Dordogne
Similar to the infrequent questions about new employment/legal issues - ?Asian corner shops, buying a vineyard and not knowing anything about wine or speaking French?

Tresco
Searcher, It would bebetter if you took the time to come back into the discussions you have started. You do put your questions in the appropriate places though![:)]

Russethouse
Haven't you asked a question somewhere else where there are no children involved ? To be honest you have asked so many questions I'm confused. The problem is you are asking the same 'scattergun' questions on two forums (and like you, many members post on both forums) and yet people have no idea what your situation is and the relevance of the information.I think you will find you do better to give brief details about your situation so that members can help you better, it doesn't have to be tremendously detailed, but at present the patience of those best place to help you is being sorely tried. We don't bite - honest ![:)]
Patf
Searcher - didn't you use to post as Blade? Also Accolade? Also you sayon the other forum that you ask questions for other people and someoneelse is helping you with the work. Perhaps you're trying to set up yourown Oui can Help? If so you need to ask more precise questions, and goto professionals to ask. Though many forum members are knowledgeablenot many are currently working professionally in the fields you askabout. Pat. Ron Avery
Pat Perhaps the last post on this thread is too subtle http://www.completefrance.com/cs/forums/642330/ShowPost.aspxIf searcher is Blade or Accolade then I am not wasting any more time replying to her[:@], and neither should anyone else. She never responds to anything, from what I have seen she does not know where she lives, one minute, its in France the next the UK and thinking of moving here , and I think Gay will confirm if it is Blade, she is writing a book because she said so[:'(]
Patf
Ron - yes I did see your posting from yesterday and took the point. Ihad already suggested it in the thread french law on pensions,21.03.06 but no reaction. I agree about not responding - weare just being used. Maybe if she contributed a bit more in a positiveway it would help rather than just taking. That's what is irritating me.Pat.
searcher30
sorry all particularly ron and pat if I have offended you. Have been under a lot of pressure to get some research done by a certain deadline and that is why I have not been able to come back so promptly. My aim is not to offend. I don't often use these forums truthfully. I always try to help when I can. I am also having lots of problems with my computer which has caught some viruses but no one on this forum seems to have the patience ! Life is definitely about give and take as that is also my motto . But I can give when my computer is working and I no longer have a deadline for work! I will try and come back more promptly in future.
