Coco
Don't know of any in St Lo but there's Monsieur Asselin in Domjean (about 15km south of Saint Lo). He has a very heavy Norman accent which makes him quite hard to understand but his son has reasonable English. Don't know his phone number but he's in http://www.pagesjaunes.fr
chrisc
There is a Gitem in Torigni Sur Vire.
cooperlola
Our local Boulanger (the electrical chain, not the bakers!) do servicing and repairs - do you have one near you?
Gillian
Thanks so much everyone! The problem with our TV is that the BBC channels have a "hiccup" which tends to swallow one or more vital words. The Sky free channels are OK, as are the French ones.I think we probably need to find an English TV repairer who will understand the difficulty. Would appreciate any further suggestions (otherwise we'll try Gitem in Torigny).
Anton Redman
It is very unlikely to be the TV. Far more likely to be a marginal problem with with Dish alignment or the LNB angle or the digibox itself. .
Gillian
Thanks Anton. That's very helpful. We are just off to Australia for three months (to visit our daughter and grandchildren), but when we return we'll check out your suggestions. Thanks a lot.
