Nomoss, variety is the spice of life.

Take a drive around and talk to some people wearing luminous jackets.
Do lighten up! [;-)]

BTW, you should have said "mysogyny is objectionable to my wife", not vice-versa, which amusingly implies the opposite meaning, which is what I alluded to in my subsequent post.

Actually, poordick, I nave done so on several occasions. There are many revendications, some more practical than others, but also much confusion.

What is clear is that they are trying to avoid being taken over by the extreme Right and Left, and are very conscious that the existingmpolitical parties are trying to horn in on the act, as are the Unions which are seen as self serving and pretty useless.

Presumably then this headline in today's Guardian uses gendered language

and should read 'bludgeoning someone to death'
For that matter why mention that it was a banker who did it?
"Someone jailed for bludgeoning someone to death'....

I'm worried slightly about ever returning to the UK without being familiar with the current euphemisms and non PC terms.

I'm trying hard to update the few jokes I can still remember, such as:

Debutante walking along Knightsbridge. "Sh1t, Mummy, I've got poo on my shoe"

We were planning to visit the Globe to see "The Taming of the Rodent with the Prominent Proboscis", but are no longer sure if it will be performed.

Its actually "scooby doo", rhyming slang for clue.

Just using scooby doesn't rhyme.

Yes I didnt have a clue what you were talking about and googled pomhorn and came up with someone on french entree. If that is correct (and it was posted as a question by me) it is indeed pathetic.
