Warning Euphorbia

Yesterday I spent an hour pruning a large Euphorbia bush. Within an hour I had the most violent pains in both eyes. I went to urgence, as I was very frightened. 20 hours later I am still suffering, though pain is lessened by pain killers, and antihistamane. This morning I have a large rash over my body, and feel as if I have done ten rounds in a boxing ring. Beware of that latex sap in Euphorbia. It is so dangerous

Yeah tell me about it.  Last year I had a bumper crop so I strimmed them, wearing nearly a full Hazmat suit (boots, long trousers, goggles and facemask, gloves etc) and got rid of them.  Then what do I do?  walk across the area shortly after in sandles and shorts.  That sap stay around for a while I can tell you.
