ITV 3 + 1 on Freesat

We have no problem getting ITV 3 on our Freesat box, but 3 + 1 says there is no signal. Can anyone suggest why this is? We also get all the other + 1,2, etc channels so I can't understand why 3 + 1 is causing a problem.

Assuming that your dish is correctly aligned, there should be no problem with reception as they are both on the same frequency.

http://fr.kingofsat.net/tp.php?tp=512 shows all the channels on this frequency.

It may be a good idea to reset your freesat box.

What make/model box do you have?

Thanks for the suggestion but since we can get loads of other channels without any problem I think, instead of resetting the box, I might leave well alone! OH is watching Match of the Day at the moment and he won't want me peering at the box to see what make it is[:)]

I'm just suprised that we can get everything else on ITV, but 3 + 1 comes up as 'no signal'.

I notice ITV1+1 is on the list - I must retune our box when we return to France in March .

Its only been around in the UK for a few weeks - but we find it good to watch when there are really good programs on especia;lly at  9 oclock on both BBC1 and ITV .

I agree, Cluzo, but I do think that actually +2 hours would be more practical.  So many programmes seem to straddle the hours and half hours these days and  it would also solve the problem for longer programmes.
