1. Try http://stuartcollins.com/ for insurance and www.adac.de for European recovery.
2. Hi Out of interest, how does a standard Carte Gris enhance the value or saleability of a classic car?
3. Hi Try ADAC.de they offer a excellent service. They cover you not the car so you are covered for driving different cars throughout the EU.
4. Good for them. I bet you wish you could do it.
5. Do you have to do a crash test?
6. I think that in France the correct procedure for the disposal of tyres is to place them in front of the Prefecture, Hotel des Impots ect and then burn them.
7. And by the way with ADAC you are covered, so you are covered in any car that you are driving.
8. Yes but you should see my Oselli stage 2 engine. If I could figure out how to put pics on here I would show you.
9. And they speak very good english. I have only used them once when my MGB engine cooked. They took me and the car home very quickly.
10. Hi ADAC. They are excellent and cost around €79per year. www.ADAC.de

Pizza
I agree but maybe the ones from franchise chains like the ones from a small shed are loaded with fat/salt/preservatives? Of course some places charge a small fortune for what starts life as cheese and tomato on toast [6]
Gosh I have had pizzas with anchovies ect but never with "preservatives". Are they tasty?
12. He's away training for the diplomatic service.
13. OMG it's getting even smaller. It's trading at 1.0992 so goodbye the 1.10 line. The next one is 1.05 and then................1 to 1. And after that who knows will we see a 0.75.
14. Ee bah gum. I've just noticed that the pound in your pocket has got smaller. It's trading at 1.1039 against the euro this morning.
15. OMG I will rush out and fill up. Thats 370lts of sp95 sat around doing nowt.
16. Ha ha looking at these posts my case rests. A fluffy mutual admiration society.
17. Er yes I am sure I have got the right one. This forum has become really quite. Gone are the days of lively debate with the likes of "Miki" abusing everyone in sight. Now it seems to be a safe little mutual admiration society. I have just had a post deleted for saying I didn't think anything was wrong with living in France for a year as a tourist. I know a few people who have houses in France and spend rather a lot of time in france but their tax residency is ofshore. So what does anyone really care? There seems to be a whole raft of people who want to mind other peoples business. By the way Will I was not directing my comments at you, your posts are mostly very factual and helpfull you do not try to instill fear and panic like a few on here.
18.
Deleted, from the Forums Code of Conduct. Users must not post messages which: Incite illegal activity.
This of course is one of the big problems with this forum. No one can express a opinion that is in any way out of line with that of the fluffy retired people who by and large live in a totally disconnected world.

20. I was told that  there is a very good chance of this outfit starting on April 1st. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VLYpKGVBUg [:)]
21. This is inevitable. The main reason is that I need to replace the soft top and put a stainless exhaust on my Merc also some amg wheels. So until I do this the pound will continue to decline so making having it all done in the good old uk so much cheaper. So there is a bright side to this.Look on the positive side.[:D]
22. Ha ha. And the pecking order is quite important as well.
23. Hi Chessie What is the EUSSR? Is it part of the eu democratic process? The party you talk about sounds really really interesting I would like to hear more about them, who are they, what their policies are and do they have a published manifesto.
24. To be a good politician you have to have all of the aforementioned assets and to be a world class leader you need a few extra as well. Anyway TB has done ok for himself, made a bit of dosh and is quite successful. I bet everyone here wishes they had his pension pot. One of his biggest plus points is that he managed to destroy any small amount of credibility that the labour party ever had. So for that alone it should be arise Sir Tony.
