Has anyone tried the turbo ovens which operate on Halogen and infra red. They seem to do much the same job as the Remoska,but are usually cheaper to buy, and are self cleaning. I have seen many demonstrations on shopping chanels but have never met anyone with any experience of owning one.

in fact things seem a little better today. Dealers beleive the European central Bank will lower rates on the 15th. accordingly the euro has weakened slightly against both sterling and the dollar. Just over 1.10 euros to the pound. It seems at last someone has remembered things are not too good in Europe either. Brits have always been happier knocking ourselves and not looking at the whole picture.

Since 15 december I have recieved 17 email messages purportring to come from my own email address. I have not opened them and they sit in my Spam box.I have not opened any of them, and therfore can only assume that the whole name is the same. They do not appear in my out box. Any thoughts?

Has anyone using Google Chrome tried to downlaod Adobe Flash Player. It insists on closing Chrome before it can be done. Are there any other flash players about? Also Pitstop have recommended that  Microsoft XP Service Pack 3 should not yet be installed. Any one done so and has it caused any problems

Just to round off my original query,The probelm seems to have been the speakers. They worked adequately with my old machine, but not this one. I have bought Dell speakers and evrything now OK. Many thansk for all who replied.

Thanks.I have two sockets, one blue one green.My jack is orange!. Whichever socket I use I get no sound from the speaker only from the computer itself.

I have bought a Dell computer (recon). My existing speakers have only 1 jack, whereas the Dell seems to need each speaker to have it's own jack. Most of the speakers I have seen seem to work off a single jack. Any suggestions please.

I have bought a reconditioned Dell computer from UK. When I connect the keyboard(either my old wireless one or the Dell) the key for @ produces " and vice versa .Also the right hand numbers do not work. The time is French time, and the internet search results are in French. Can I make an adjustment?

Sidddals in May thought the euro rate would trade within 1.20 to 1.30 In reality this proved to be 1.22 to 1.29. Today's bulletin says they feel the rate will not fall below 1.20 but could rise to 1.30/ Based on the fact that most of the economies in europe could weaken more than the UK.No one is set for an esay ride but eh UK should be better positioned. Some economists predict 1.50 within 6 months but Siddalls are not so bullish.

Sorry to be so thick. Have been searching in device manager but cannot see hard drive listed. UNder disc drive I see standard disc driver ST320410A and under Computer ACPI Uniprocessor PC Root/ACP1_HAL/0000 standard computer.Probbaly of no interest but the computer is an E Machines 130.
