I'm going to write a letter to Monsieur le Maire this afternoon, introducing myself and reassuring him that my intentions towards his village are honourable, before moving there in a few weeks.  Do you think he'll find this to be: a/ a nice touch, thereby getting our relationship off to a flying start, or b/ the work of a nutter?  [8-)]

Erm, has anything actually come out?  Mine's just a white screen!!  I know it gets snowy in the mountains but I think the white is down to incompetence rather than meteorology.  How do you do pictures???? [:'(] [8-)]

Is it possible/legal to register a new business with the CdeC/CdeM using the address of a house you haven't yet moved into, but will do in a couple of months?  It would be good to get a lot of the bureaucratic bits out of the way so that I can use my time more efficiently when I move in by actually grafting rather than form filling, but I suspect this particular notion is a bit dodgy isn't it?
