You could always try stereo headphones !!! It seems to help with the imbalance of the inner ear however when you give others earache by singing then there is a price to pay [:D] It works for me, not the singing mind you just the earphones.

Hi Hugh, Presumably yu are saying that cosing off the eaves at the 1800mm mark then using the area behind as storage is your recommendation? I can't find a tax bill at the moment but we will be going from about 100 m2 to  nearly 400m2 of living area! I was going to make rooms en-suite and make a few corridors and a stair well turret as the previous owner told me tat tax is not paid on WCs and corridors / hallways. A fishing question, not much chance of a reply afraid, seems to be very few anglers here, least wise who contribute to LFF. hi buying a gun if not a resident is no problem at all, just take your permit de chasse and you can buy as many guns as you like and what ever size you like. however there are certain differences to England. Here you need to take a test, unlike in England. Also a .22 rifel can be bought here but is not permitted on the chasse as it is deemed unsporting as the gun is very quite and gives the game less of a chance. also do not buy your .22 in England or beware because as in England or France you can buy semi-auto .22  but in France you are limited to 3 shots before reloading, in England you can have a .22 which takes 10 or more. good luck with the test and happy hunting ......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................               Hi, what difference does the noise make ? surely after the bang the bullet travels so fast that the intended target doesn't have a clue about any bang, the other animals would hear it and run off, is this what you meant? hugh.                                                                                               

Hi all, before we jump can anyone tell me if you can record on a sky plus box here in france. We have a subscription in UK on a matching box and we can get a 2nd box with the extra £120 subscription, but will it record here in  france? The telephone connection is, we hear, not necessary for the extra box as long as the main box is connected to telephone line. Any help is welcome, Hugh.
