second home owners, here is some good news for you
BritinBretagne replied to mint's topic in Other Topics
Rubbish. The online portal for British nationals for a Carte de Residence will open in July. The ‘deal’ has been done, Britain has left the EU, the end of the transition period will determine the way the Britain is able to trade with the EU and other countries. -

Let’s start a club for narcissistic members at the same time. Most of us are continuing to pay for things that we cannot use or access, what makes you so special? A second home is a luxury why should that luxury be subsidised? -

I think it’s you who has been missing, I’ve been here all the time. -
I notice Nomoss needed to repeat my post but then went on about 2042C. Given the thread’s title I presumed that the OP was making an online declaration. :)

There’s access to a notes section right at the end. I left a note on mine and it’s printed on the ‘summary’ that I can access online.

I think you are wrong about your government pensions. They need to be declared on the 2047 as foreign income, 1AL and transferred to 8TK which is then updated to the 2042.

They still have to meet the criteria for those people allowed to enter France. At the moment that does not include second home owners and its very unlikely that that will change next week. The quarantine regulations are only part of it. -
I would have thought that Twitter would be right up your street ALBF. Millions of new friends for you to share your views and experiences with.

Thoughts on pet training / gundog training income

Are you British? After the transition period it will become far more difficult for British citizens to work in France. A huge number of people have taken advantage of freedom of movement, moved to France and set up a small business, that just isn’t going to happen in the near future. If you have the skills, acceptable qualifications and the language to compete for an advertised job that’s a bit different but you will still come at the end of the queue of French and other European applicants who also apply. -

Why are you telling me that? It was you who made the strange statement. The truth is the figures are not in line and Ireland’s figures are much better.
"I think"??? "The COVID death rate in England 2.5 times that of Ireland" Might just be something to do with population figures, England has 10 times the amount of people.
I think you need to look at the figures not just jump to the wrong conclusions. The rates are per 1000. Today’s figures U.K. 717 Ireland 31

I’m with Norman on this one. I’m not sure which definition of fit they are using, the man that I’ve seen on TV has never looked particularly fit to me.

How can somebody who posts that ever be respected again. The only disgusting person in this dialogue is surely yourself. Nasty.

I would much rather have a Corbin in control than the chubby clown Johnson. He’s up a creek without a clue, not knowing to pander to people power or his financial friends. Corbin would have been focussed, informed and man enough to make the sort of decisions that are way above Johnson’s ability. Once this has come to an end Britain will have to rely on Mr Hopeless to work miracles to make the country stand on its own two feet again. You really couldn’t make it up. Chess UE, what are you on, it’s addled you’re brain.

One bit of good news

Strangely although silence has reigned supreme I have had one on 18th March. I wonder how that one slipped through. -
I’m paying for mine by bank transfer. The details of how to pay are on the back of the page on the one I received today.
