  1. Go girl....😀 They sell Chedder down at at our Lidl. Melted on toast…yum yum.
  2. Feeding babies with unpasteurised cheese or milk was only going end in disaster.
  3. Kinda of possible….but I think waffle is quite universal. I speak waffle in both French and English. I just waffle away in either language. No one can stop me. A little bit waffle.
  4. Yes….that is what I mean. There must be some reason why I get on more/have the same sort of thinking with the French than say the British. In fact, I could apply that to most European nationalities. Do you know what I mean ? I don’t mean that in a....’ooh I’m sooo French’ or ‘I’m so European’….sort of way. Its just the way I am. In my final year at Uni in the UK….I just hung out with the French and other foreign students. I think there must be a biological or genetic reason for it. I love the UK and would live there because it is exciting. But I will never feel at home there. I would get bored in conversations very quickly…lol. So what is it ? I am sure I am not the only one who feels that way.
  5. Then don’t fly. I can tolerate a 2hr ryanair flight…..but that is about it. Don’t care who sits next to me or if the kids wipe jam all over me. Never have and will never fly long haul. 2hrs max….excuse the pun.
  6. I think people with ginger hair should pay more.😀 Price per kilo…and why not ? You have a little drop down box on the Ryanair website where you have to put in your weight. Kerching Mr O Leary. I hate flying so I really don’t care. Its people who don’t like screaming kids that I would ban from flights.
  7. Why do some British types have an affiliation with France and others don’t ? But that can work both ways, why do some French folk love the UK and other French don’t ? Is it genetics?
  8. I’m sure the bloke from the most dysfunctional and richest familes in the world will get the very best care. Those from less dysfunctional famalies who have paid their taxes will probably receive less care. The way things are going, Meghan might actually become queen one day. Sorry for the bloke, I don’t wish bad health on anyone. But for crying out loud. Its their business not ours.
  9. I agree to your point of driving a large SUV in a crowded city……it is completely stupid. That said, Paris has become such a dirty dangerous place now the best place for you is in a car.
  10. Macron modeled himself on Blair. Maron is the man of the people. We love Macron in our family. He is the man of the people. He represents all of us with his accent that represents a ‘man of the people’. During the famers demonstration Macron was dressed as a turkey in Sweden. Google it if you don’t believe me.
  11. Yes…but it was that Brexit supporting UK paper that has put a nail in the coffin of my and other people lives. French too. Would not eat fish & ships out of that paper. Cretins va !
  12. Ooh hang on a minute. Nos went to Guadelope.😀 I am guessing its male… https://www.oiseaux-birds.com/fiche-colibri-madere.html It is a sub specious of a hummingbird.
  13. Especially when hummingbirds are not found in Europe and they are the size of your little finger.
  14. Gorgeous. Where in France to do you find a dog like that ?
  15. I don’t read the #####$$$&& Telegraph. Nor want to pay for it. I have BFM on at the moment and flip between other French media oulets. Just saying. We live in France. Try French news.
  16. Ummm …I personally don’t think so. This is now more a revolution against the EU. Talking of which, did anyone see Macron dressed as a turkey yesterday in Sweden.
  17. I am not sure bananas are grown locally anywhere in France at anytime of the year 😂 Those little tomatoes are….I think.
  18. The feathered ones Nos. 😂 Plenty of títs in my garden. We have great, blue, crested, longtailed….coal ????????……..all shapes and sizes. Feeding on my nuts.
  19. I bet you I can spot and identify 70 % of birds in France. I stare.
  20. Of course. When I left uni in 90’s getting on the property ladder was a pipe dream in the UK. Especially with 8k student debts. Today….I guess it is a lot worse and you are tied to a mortgage debt for the rest of your life. The same in France….but you have to work a lot harder. Salaries are not the same as the UK. Swings and roundabouts. My mums 3 bed bungalow in the UK is worth more than my chateaux in France. Very easy to sell a house in the UK…pay off your mortgage….and buy bigger house in France. But now….you have to earn a living.
  21. Birds are singing here. They do think it is spring and time to build a nest. Is it spring though ?
  22. Hmmmm.. I very much doubt many people would have gone through what we have done over the last 25 years in terms of hard work. And we started life in France with student debts living in a 15 sq metre flat in Paris. . Not selling a house in the UK and buying your way into a lifestyle. We worked for it. Lets be very clear Mr & Mrs ALBF….are no snowflakes. We have the scars to prove it. And we are not finished yet. Never stand still is my motto in life.
