1. I would like to send a delivery of food from the Sainsburys web site to my son in  the UK, but I am not sure if it is possible. It would be paid for with my French card which obviously has a different addess to  the delivery one. In addition I wondered if Brexit has complicated this. Has anyone any experience of this?
2. I rather think it is to give the impression of a shortage so as to encourage all the 'anti vaxxers' to change  their minds. We will see in a while  whether it has worked. The policy certainly seems to make sure that the most vulnerable people (plus front-line carers) have both a first and a  second injection, rather than rushing out single doses to more people. As far as I know the results of the test stages of the vaccine  were obtained with the double injection model, so the single version is  rather a 'shot in the dark'. I am not qualified to judge which is the better option.
3. There was no mention of being able to make a second appointment on line when I made the first one, but it was said that the second one would be made at the first appointment. After  reading the posts here I tried to make a second one but the  page no longer exists (error 404)
4. Trump dies from the virus. He goes to Hell where the Devil is waiting for him.    "I don't know what to do," says the Devil. "You're on my list but I have no room for you. But you definitely have to stay here, so I'll tell you what I'm going to do. I've got three people here who weren't quite as bad as you. I'll let one of them go, but you have to take their place. I'll even let YOU decide who leaves."  Trump thought that sounded pretty good so he agreed.    The devil opened the first room. In it was Richard Nixon and a large pool of water. He kept diving in and surfacing empty handed over and over and over, such was his fate in Hell.  "No!" Trump said. "I don't think so. I'm not a good swimmer and I don't think I could do that all day long."    The Devil led him to the next room. In it was Tony Blair with a sledgehammer and a room full of rocks. All he did was swing that hammer, time after time after time.  "No! I've got this problem with my shoulder. I would be in constant agony if all I could do was break rocks all day!" commented Trump.    The Devil opened a third door. In it, Trump saw Bill Clinton lying naked on the floor with his arms staked over his head and his legs staked in spread-eagle pose. Bent over him was Monica Lewinsky, doing what she does best.    Trump looked at this in disbelief for a while and finally said, "Yeah, I can handle this."    The Devil smiled and said, "Monica, you're free to go!
5. One presumes that this banana will be straight, as EU rules demand according to the confabulations of Boris BJ?
6. Well  done.I am already registered  with Doctolib as I use it for my other medical appointments with specialists, but I am rather disheartened by the ridiculous  place chosen as our centre, which is several kilometres out of town with no public transport..However thanks to your example I have booked an appointment for the 30th January, so thank you for spurring me on...
7. Thank you nomoss. If that is really the case the vaccination centre is outside town well out of the range of my mobility scooter...[:'(]
8. The relevant section is hardly too long to read https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2020/29/enacted/data.htm?fbclid=IwAR0jg9HJGs8A5tM1m9cTqTbJ9xBZNHH7OarKyjW6F0Ahl3eh_fluQNppho8
9. I use Firefox and have set the 'home' page to https://start.duckduckgo.com/so I have that as a starting point I also use Vivaldi browser which is much quicker and lighter, like Chrome without all the Google stuff, but it takes a little bit of setting up https://vivaldi.com/
10. Le service est en cours de maintenance. L'horaire précis d'ouverture du service de prise de rendez-vous en ligne pour la vaccination sera communiqué prochainement.
11. Same here. It seems stuck on yesterday's version for the moment..

13. On my computer the site just says that  we are many trying to connect..
14. I think you are both being a little unfair to Castex who is by nature a 'back-room' boy projected into the public eye. I find him and his strong regional accent a refreshing change from the bombastic bluster of some...
15. Yesterday you  merely repeated a link  to the Figaro article that I mentioned back on the 8th of January without showing any proof from sante.fr that it  will actually go ahead like that. Now you give a different address for my local centre de vaccination to that shown on sante.fr as in  the screenshot above. What do you know that sante.fr doesn't?

17. You posted "It has been announced it will be possible for the over-75s to book a first injection appointment from Thur 14 Jan on sante.fr" This could be miscontrued as meaning that that the site 'sante.fr' says that when  so  far it is just  something that has been reported in the press. I was simply pointing out  that so far this doesn't yet appear on sante.fr although  the  Figaro article to which I had already  posted a link mentions it, as does the les echoes Try not to be so bad-tempered[:D]
18. I think we are at cross purposes. The link to the Figaro article that I posted is refers to what the future plan is intended to be.What I  posted is what is  being   stated at the moment on  santé.fr https://sante.fr/covid-19-personnes-eligibles-la-vaccination-janvier-2021 which may  well change to follow what the  papers say, but hasn't done so as yet...
19.
It has been announced it will be possible for the over-75s to book a first injection appointment from Thur 14 Jan on sante.fr Various centres will be open from Mon 18 Jan to give the injections. Not all those centres will be open immediately to the general public but all should be open by the end of January.
I can still only see" Lieux de vaccination COVID-19   La vaccination est désormais ouverte à l’ensemble des personnes volontaires de plus de 50 ans ou présentant des comorbidités avec risque de forme grave de COVID-19 appartenant aux catégories suivantes : professionnels de santé, y compris les professionnels libéraux ;personnel des établissements de santé et médico-sociaux intervenant auprès des personnes vulnérables ;pompiers ;aides à domicile intervenant auprès des personnes vulnérables.
