Front of the house before. No openings this side at all. Couldn't inspect the wall because it was impossible to penetrate the undergrowth. But we bought it anyway!

Geordie girl - Termites don't like being seen, that's why they are so scary, building construction wise.  We bought our house cheaply because they were in the floor.  I did get to see a couple as they scurried away whenever a plank was lifted.  They are white and like woodlice, but much, much smaller.

no , if you look close the original had a lump missing at the front of the r/h bowl , so it had to go ( it was a heavy beast)

My old and solid sink is in the garden, using an outdoor tap, for washing sand off feet (the Medoc is built on sand), filling up buckets etc.  (One of the best things that I did.  Ignore the debris of 4 children around it.)
