NormanH
Thanks Clair.Perhaps now there will be a re-think on the 25 'propositions' to cut the Health budget..
Kitty
What is a malaise? Is it a euphemism for a heart attack?
Clair
Malaise usually means something like fainting or feeling faint. It could be used when you feel faint because of low blood pressure for instance. What causes the malaise is not usually explained until after tests and checks have been done. Think back to Blair and his pacemaker... The official word then was "irregularities" I believe...edit: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/france/5912302/Nicolas-Sarkozy-in-hospital-after-being-taken-ill.html
NormanH
And sometimes a symptom of a minor stroke. My wish for Sarkozy is that he has a stroke which prevents him from speaking or moving his right hand (so he can't sign anything or push any nuclear buttons) but at the same time (as is normal with a minor stroke) he can understand everything that is said to and about him, without in anyway being able to communicate his wishes. Kitty
This one possibly Nicolas Sarkozy rushed to hospital after collapse
The article says that Sarkozy is .... due to go on holiday to his wife's villa on the French Riviera ... and could be advised by doctors to adopt a lighter schedule ...Perhaps he shouldn't take Carla on holiday with him. dragonrouge
History is littered with those of short stature and big mouths. Hence Hitler Mussolini Napoleon and of course the now President of the 5th Republic. They tend to try to compensate with lack of stature with lots of rhetoric. JMB
So who would you have as President? Why do you think Mr. Sarkozy is bad for you and for France?
Bluebell
I didn't dislike him so much (despite my neighbours' opinions) until he started on about Sunday opening. And that comment about having to ring a shop so Mrs Obama could go shopping for the kids' clothes was just pathetic.

mint
Except that, Clair, all those posts were about post-natal women![blink]Is the President expecting a baby (that would account for the fainting) or just given birth then? (that would be the reason for the need for pelvic exercises and losing weight)[8-)]
