Gardian
Birthday card posted in the far rural west of Co. Cork in Eire at 15.30 on Weds 10th.Delivered in this equally rural part of southern France on the morning of Fri 12th.Not half bad eh?p.s. When any supplier tries to tell you that any delay is "down to the post"', they're telling porkies.
Rabbie
You are lucky. Here in rural Wiltshire just a mile from the centre of town we don't get mail deliveries until about 14:30.
idun
Yes, happens, BUT, I have only known it happen with international post when living in France. We often got post, first class, from our nearest city, but in another dept, 10 days after it had been posted. When it was important it was very annoying.
NormanH
In Béziers you are lucky if a letter is delivered at all.La Poste have 'lost' items such as my passport, a report from the DRIRE and delivered changed hospital appointments days after the event.
