mint Posted April 13, 2009 Share Posted April 13, 2009 Any beach types out there who knows about the best surfing within, say, an hour from Bordeaux?No, I'm NOT thinking of taking up surfing (the very thought terrifies me) but have visitors who've specifically asked about this.Suggestions, help, advice will be gratefully received. Maybe a bit too far from you but the surfing capital of France is further down towards Biarritz at Hossegor beach - it's absolutely great there (and next door at Capbreton) but can get crowded, especially when there are competitions on.Have fun!
