Joe Posted March 28, 2010 Share Posted March 28, 2010 I live in area 56 and would like to go to Crete in June fron Nantes.The brochure prices state a supplement which would make it expensive.I have heard it is cheaper to fly back to Stansted and go from there.Any thoughts or suggestions! Dog Posted March 28, 2010 Share Posted March 28, 2010 I am going in May via UK it is cheaper as my brother is paying.We stay at some apartments for 40 pounds a week and eat at a family restaurant where we are now family and eat with them.They cook us locally produced vegetables and cook peasant food rather than tourist taste.We usually hire off-road motorcycles and visit an 80 plus year old couple that live in a hovel on the plateau. We have booked a villa direct on the net.We trawled the internet for ages to find the cheapest flights and these are the last flights coming back in October and then everything is from Paris at about €2500,00 per person, No its not wrong I couldn't beleive it, so after otober its much cheaper to go back to the uk and fly out.
