Alex H
I've noticed a few of the local cemeteries have what appear to be '3 sided greenhouses', for want of a better description, over some of the memorials.Anyone know why?I can understand the solid stone ones, but glass? Cendrillon
I can only assume that the "greenhouse" constructions are there to protect the wreaths though frequently the wreaths are made of artificial materials so no chance of them deteriorating quickly. Another thought, perhaps they are shelters to protect the bereaved when they come to sit by the graves.
lacote0_0
We have one in our cemetery. Without disrespect for the dead, it is hideous.

What meanest thou ?These shelters can only be for the living, the dead don't mind whatever the weather does or at least none have ever complained to me.John
