Black pudding

As Will says, boudin noir can be fried, but they're a little more delicate than our black puddings as they don't have the same thick inedible skins.  They can be fried whole, if done gently, but for frying in slices I find it helps to slice them quite thickly, start them off at a fairly high heat to seal the outsides, and then reduce the heat to finish them.

Hi Will,

Clonakilty? Now there's a town I never expected to be mentioned here, haven't heard anyone else mention it in years!

We used to have family holidays 8 miles from there at Rosscarbery back in the mists of time when I was but a slip of a girl, mother used to buy the best ever milk bread in Clonakilty.

It is probably the most beautiful part of the world.

Aly
