Update.

Took an antihistamine lastnigh and drank a couple of glasses of the old head beater.  Today not a sign of a bad head.  I think we might be on to something.

I think RH was onto something when she mentioned the food consumed with the wine. I find that I tend to eat savoury/salty foods when drinking and these alone (i.e. when not drinking) can bring on a roaring noise in my head.

Still working too, thanks to all.  I have finalised the investigation's first stages and can concur that after abusing a known bad wine for four nights the worst I have suffered has been a groggy head that clears an hour or two after getting out of bed.

I can not honestly thank you all enough, these dam headaches have blighted my life for years, they have left me unable to function and now I can avoid them and live a normal life being able to indulge in my alcoholism lol.
