Pierre ZFP
I agree completely, in a very unscientific poll (I asked some people in my office who I know follow F1) all except 1 said they would not watch anymore - the one exception already has Sky

Dog
Suits me Sir - the BBC wastes millions on televising F1, the money would be better spent on getting WSB and BSB live on the Beeb and there should still be loads left over.
AnOther
Surprised a small island off the West coast of Scotland are bidding for it or have that sort of money [Www]Seriously though whilst it's nice to be able to watch it ad free as a minority niche sport I never considered the amount of licence payers money the BBC spends on the rights to be justifiable. nomoss
I've been wondering for a while why I'm watching a bunch of jumped-up millionaire ex go-kart drivers compete in such a contrived competition. It does seem fun until one starts to think about it seriously. If I have to pay even more to watch it on Mr. Murdoch's channels I don't think I'll bother.
