This 'year' goes from Oct 2006_Dec 2007.For example Today was planting plants that have fruit; tomatoes, beans, peas.Tomorrow is a no no day for the garden because the moon crosses its node.Good luck. Our neighbour gave me some hand-written A4 sheets he'd copied for me that showed me what to plant and when according to the phase of the moon. I thought he'd gone completely barmy! but I later found out it seems the normal thing to do. I have heard they do the same thing in Italy too. I have to confess I don't really understand it so I've just planted my veggies at the same time he does!! The soil temperature, how soggy the ground is, the odd unexpected freezing spell, etc. are all utterly irrelevant. Just follow the moon. If you miss the right date just wait another month. But it also influenced his mushroom hunting - he always said the best time for mushrooms if the period between the old and the new moon. he swore it was useless to go amushrooming when the moon is full.
