I know that chopped up stinging nettles  left in a bucket of water to produce a dark green liquid will green up your lawn ..My brother in law uses it ..(.very good for the places a b.i.t.c.h has squatted if you can remember where she went  ) to fix the browning patches ... I believe the liquid also if sprayed on kills  mites, and aphids...I have got the lot .the nettles ..the brown lawn patches  and the aphids .  Has anybody tried spraying on this stuff ? ..does it work as a pesticide ?   If so what sort of dilution ...use when light green... or after its stewed a few weeks and is going brown ?

made my 'purin d'orties' 2 weeks ago - the smell only lasted for a few days. Now I dilute it to feed borders and troughs - great!

Spotted a couple of huge clumps of comfrey/consoude in a neighbour's garden today. She is actually from Kent - so will go and beg for a few roots next week. Great for activating compost.
