Pauline Posted December 8, 2010 Share Posted December 8, 2010 Please dont think I am ungrateful to the worms in my garden but the lawn now looks like it has thousands and thousands and thousands of mini mole hills when infact they are worm hills, so many I can hardly see any grass, this is our first 3 months in France and to our garden can anyone advise me what to do, I also guess thats why we have hundreds of mole hills too! andyh4 Posted December 9, 2010 Share Posted December 9, 2010 When the grass is dry sweep the casts off with a stiff brush - if you have that many might be worth collecting to add to the compost heap. Pauline Posted December 9, 2010 Author Share Posted December 9, 2010 Thanks Andy for the advice, I have started the almost impossible task today of collecting the worm mounds and using on my new borders(back breaking)I dont intend to stop or harm the worms I was just asking for advice as I have NEVER seen so many worm mounds.
