Swissie
That word 'con' gets me confused every time! Converse trainers have never been popular in France, as it is hard to go around with the word printed on your shoes! I once took a group of French students to the Robbin Hood museum in Nottingham, and they all insisted they should get in at reduced rate as advertised!! How did 'she' get your details? Jonzjob
Cendrilion Easy!!Chancer Wife here with me and daughter in IlfracombeSwisse No idea as to how she got my e-mail address, but the e-mail is in the bin now!!Something that fascinates me about this is that she states that her flight leaves in 4 daze. So even if she has lost the ticket her passport will get her another! She must think that I rode up the Severn on a bike (the Severn is a big river for those wot don't know)I wonder if this is she?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_6sUU1WORM

bubbles
Thanks for that website, Tandem_Pilot.And thank you for asking, Jo - unlike most of us who just thought "What on earth does that stand for but I don't like to ask".Will now admit that I checked on IMAO while I was on the site.So now I know everything there is to know (IMHO)
Jonzjob
In my humble opinion Bubbles there's nothing to answer to [:P][Www]I haven't thought about it for more years than I care to remember, but it reminds me of a certain Chief Tech that I knew when I was at R.A.F. Lynehan who was a liability and was called FOD. The name was Dunnet and the FOD was something to do with his going away sexually? He was a disaster just looking for somewhere to happen. One of his antics was when we were in Nairobi and we had a Britannia with a propeller that didn't stop when the engine was stopped, it just windmilled because the prop brake didn't engage. A 16 foot, 4 bleded prop doing about 50 rpm in the wind and this idiot was trying to stop it with a piece of strong tape used for lashing cargo down. If he had actually caught a prop blade he would have been thrown gawd knows how far. All it was was a blown fuse that I replaced as soon as I could get there! Pillock!Edit :- I forgot to mention that the 'normal' translation' for FOD is 'foreign object damage' which is damage caused by rubbish that causes damage to aircraft by being picked up and damaging said aircraft..
