Has any one else got an oddly behaving pet?We have a young goat who thinks she is a dog she is free to roam the grounds. fandango Posted January 29, 2011 Share Posted January 29, 2011 Our Staffie has always eaten poo, her own preferably, fresh, but also cat, rabbit and horse. A muzzle at night is preventing some of this, in daylight hours it is not so much of a problem. She is nealry 15 and has always done this, in England intermittently but in France as often as she gets the chance, especially if we have visitors in the evening!I have tried all the remedies, putting pineapple in her food and also other repellents but to no avail, it is just a habit,but not a very nice one!! I also keep a toothbrush and dog toothpaste to hand for the more embarassing occasions!Apparently, according to my vet nurse daughter, cat poo is particularly tasty!Sorry I can't be of more help.
