never a dull moment Posted July 16, 2006 Share Posted July 16, 2006 The surface of the cement facing on an exterior wall is slightly unstable and I’d like to give it a coat of PVA before repainting. Cassis Posted July 16, 2006 Share Posted July 16, 2006 Philipe the menuisier says it's "colle blanche" or "colle pva" (pay-vay-a) if you have to ask for it by name. Loads of the stuff in glue section of any diy shop, just water it down as the earlier poster says. Also called "colle bois" commonly, although technically this covers other woodworking glues as well.One manufacturer is Sader. Here is a 2-page fiche technique.
