Following advice on this Forum we bought ours in Castorama and we are very pleased with the delivery* and the quality also the prices are very good. (*I had to change the date of delivery twice but there was no problem). You can order it via the Internet with a choice of delivery dates.

Many thanks for posting your experience.  I, too, have been looking at the Castorama site but I had been dithering (as usual and worried about making a costly mistake).  Now I feel much happier about going ahead and ordering.
Don't forget you will need to make a Déclaration De Travaux[:)]
Not quite... New rules come into play from today (01/10/07)

More details about the new rules here: http://www2.equipement.gouv.fr/formulaires/docassocies/51190.pdf

If the shed surface is between 2 and 20m², you need to complete a déclaration préalable, which can be downloaded fromn this page: http://www2.equipement.gouv.fr/formulaires/formfiche.asp?IdFormulaire=170&NumFormulaire=13404
Clair, I am hopeless at Math, so would I need permission for a shed 2.15 m x 1.88 m?
Assuming you've quoted the width and depth of the shed, it works out at just over 4m², so you do need to complete a déclaration préalable...(multiply the width by the depth to obtain the surface area)

If you're living near a church, in a historical area or in any restricted area, you'll need to read the form linked to above, as other restrictions will apply...
