1. Only buy good makes. The supermarket stuff is often cheap and short lived
2. Some time ago I suggested to my elderly, retired ,French, farmer neighbour that he might try this rather than digging. he thought I was nuts.
3. What is the name of these units please? Would they maintain a bedroom at, say, a steady 17 degrees C in winter?
4. Interesting this. I think it is reasonable to say that he is entitled to health cover in the country of residence, regardless. In other words, the country of residence has a responsibility. If they are denying that responsibility, interesting ball game.[6] I hope he comes out all right. If in doubt, sue the British health system.
5. Dont hide the decorative blue plastic effect. Seriously, how do yields compare with old fashioned methods?
6. Frith, did they have housing problems in Ancient Greece too. No wonder they all went to London.[6] Anyway, please tell me more about what can be grown in a barrel. The only way anything will ever grow in my garden is if I can protect it from JCB, so logically barrels. What you know about barrels RH?
7. What else can one do in a barrel apart from live? Heyyyyyyyyyyyy, just solved the French housing problem. How many families can you get into a standard wine barrel. And what about those whopping great ones?  TLM, so much cheaper and when you wanna move....[6]
8. Be careful, the last three posts are deviant and will be removed with cleavers, like th corgis privates. (but only in France.)[6]
9. He has passed over BUT, after a long and slightly tedious session on the ouija board last night I have received full instructions as to how to proceed, as well as an assessment of the characters of some of the more notorious posters.  What a gossip my brother was. Dont worry, I will carry on his work to the full.[6]
10. If you can get Vredestein, they are outstanding. Dutch, biggest market is planes and trucks but car tyres are well worth the hunt.
11. Nobody ever traded in my brother. Though those who got his organs did pay a premium as he had a heart of gold etc. Miss Spring, sin is so much fun. Seriously, when you reach a certain stage in life, by which I mean a certain level of baggage, it is better not to marry as the system in general does not cope unless you are 19 years of age with stars in your eyes. I once contemplated making a making a lucky lady very happy but realised that if either of us bugg§§§§ off this mortal coil then a lot of children or grandchildren from a spray of more or less legitimate relationships stood to be made very unhappy. Whilst I am not soppy about my kids, they certainly do not deserve to be disinherited or have their inheritance diluted. So Babe, just put your lips together and blow. See if  'Steve' is up to it.[6]
12.
I knew my GCE in total irrelevance would come in useful one day Mrs A.  And I've been pondering for days over the uses that Cathy (I think it was) could use her spare can of expanding polystyrene for.  I couldn't get past the notion in my head that she could fill up her neighbours post box with it, but I didn't like to say cos people might think I'm weird[geek]
I've always wanted to do that.
13. OK, I'm off to the ouija session, wish me luck.[8-)]
14. C'est vrai, tu n'avait pas dit 'Nenis' (Wallon) ce soir là non plus.[:D]
15. Anybody out there got a Dell laptop please? Are they any good? Did you order it via the French website and how did you get a Querty keyboard? (or did you not bother)? For someone who is a very, very, fast touch typist and who cant change keyboards apparently. Grateful for any info svp. Thanks
16. There is going to be a Ouija Board session later tonight. Perhaps WB1 might come up. He will have to give me some guidelines if I am to succeed him. Any questions anyone wants asking?[:D]
17.
Course it s me in the pic FK ..  Me in a poo of tears.......................
C'est soit ta fille, soit ta petite soeur.[6]  C'est quoi 'un poo of tears'?
18. It strikes me RH that, put that way, there might be a case for the European Court of Human Rights to investigate
